Scratchboard by Ben Firth

The scratchboard I use is Claybord Black made by Ampersand. It is a hardboard similar to Masonite coated with white kaolin clay. The clay surface is covered with India ink. The images are created by scratching away the ink to reveal the white clay beneath. The pictures are sealed with a fixative and can be framed without glass. The prices below include frames.
